Deacon Family Ministry was started in January 2001 as an outreach to the families of our church. Each of the active deacons takes responsibility for discipline, nurturing, and assisting  the active membership of the church. This ministry is based on the responsibilities of deacons as originally outlined in Acts 6. They were to care for the widows and others needing assistance. Further information concerning this program can be obtained by contacting the Chairman of Deacons.

    Qualifications of Deacons are outlined in  Acts 6:1-6 & 1 Timothy 3:8-13.

    Deacon signifies servant, and is so translated in  Matthew 23:11; John 12:26.
